The Feast of St Patrick’s would be incomplete without a trip to one of Irishman born and bred, Richard Corrigan’s restaurants and there’ll be plenty of reasons to go…
Feast of St Patrick’s at Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March (£70 pp, 12pm kick off) promises to be a trademark lively affair. A four course lunch, family style with live music and much merriment will include Irish classics of Rooftop smoked salmon, Irish Stew, Bacon & cabbage, prune, sauternes & hazelnuts.
At Corrigan’s Mayfair, true to his roots, Richard Corrigan will be putting some of his favourite Irish classics on the menu for St Patrick’s Day. The likes of Collar of bacon with truffle and cabbage, Crispy crubeens with beetroot and horseradish, and treacle and Guinness tart with whiskey cream are all expected to make an appearance.
Dickies Bar will pay homage to Richard’s Irish heritage by serving Irish classics for the week such as Black Velvet and Irish Coffee (both £12) not to mention having Guinness on full flow while showcasing a vast and rare Irish Whiskey collection. Plus guests at the St Patrick’s Day Masterclass at Dickies Cocktail School on Saturday 17th March (£55 pp, 3-5pm) will learn to recreate plenty of Irish tipples, both classic and contemporary.
